Tragic is when one feels completely filled with sorrow and despair due to a situation. Tragedy refers to the situation itself in that it is a horrible thing that fills its victims with depression and leaves them hopeless because the catastrophe deeply wounds them. A tragic voice in a text expresses depression and sorrow in their somber tone and attitude due to the events that have happened.
