The tone giddy refers to someone that is overly excited or worked up about something that he/she cannot contain his excitement. He/she may be thought of as hyper, resulting in an overload of energy. It is more of a light-hearted tone that is inspired through joyfulness. For example, children may be thought of as giddy because of their playfulness and silliness. Children are giddy when they eat too much candy to the point to which they become hyper.
Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
“Sometimes, I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
