Exuberant means a state of extreme joy or happiness. People are filled with exuberance when they feel lively or high spirited because of a situation that has occurred. Many also feel exuberant during celebrations or parties where there is joy and adrenaline overflowing. In an exuberant text, or speaker, one would see an excited or hyper attitude that shows that one is enjoying pleasure and overall very happy.
For example, large crowds in a concert are often filled with exuberance because they feel enthusiastic to be celebrating the moment.
Exuberance can be found in the “Sound of Music” when Marie feels complete joy and happiness when singing her song “The Hills are Alive.”
“The hills are alive with the sound of music
With songs they have sung for a thousand years
The hills fill my heart with the sound of music
My heart wants to sing every song it hears.”
Exuberance is also seen in the bible verse, 1 Chronicles 29:17 when speaking of how we are excited and feel joy in God’s power and reign.
“Let them sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth.”
Exuberance in a sentence: The girl felt exuberance as she ran toward the crystal blue water of the island, happiness slowly devouring her soul.
