1. Diabolic- Diabolic is a word that has a negative connotation because it has a darker meaning. Being diabolic is having such evil intentions to either harm someone else creating a master plan of destruction. If a person is diabolic, they are seeking out opportunities to harm other people, or ruin their days; in general, they would bring bad things upon the world. A text could be diabolic because of the narrator's intentions expressed through the author’s writing.

  1. On November 9, 1938, Hitler commenced the Kristallnacht where he raided and decimated thousands of Jewish businesses overnight. Jewish men were separated from their families, and abruptly taken to concentration camps where they would live until their were liberated by the Allies.
